"Hope Has a Name"
Family, as I reflect on yesterday’s message, I’m reminded that hope is not a feeling and it’s not wishful thinking. Hope has a name and His name is Jesus.
Isaiah spoke these words to a people sitting in darkness, people who felt forgotten and worn down by life. Yet right in the middle of judgment and gloom, God spoke hope. He promised a Child, a King, a Savior who would step into their darkness and carry the weight they could not.
That’s what blesses me most: the government wasn’t placed on our shoulders, it was placed on His. When life feels heavy, when the world feels unstable, and when hope feels thin, we are reminded that our King is perfect, proven, and everlasting.
“Hope is not found in circumstances changing, but in Christ reigning.”
Reflection Question
Where do you need to stop looking for hope in outcomes and start resting in the One who holds your future?
Prayer
Lord, thank You for sending hope into our darkness. When life feels uncertain, help me remember that You are still in control and Your kingdom will never fail. Strengthen my heart to trust You today. Amen.
