Yesterday we were reminded that because Jesus got up, the work is not over. We still have an assignment. We are called to tell others about Christ, help people grow in Him, and depend on His power every step of the way.

As we step into this week, let us not leave Sunday’s word in the sanctuary. Let us carry it into our homes, our jobs, and our everyday lives. Somebody needs to hear about Jesus. Somebody needs encouragement. Somebody needs to see Christ in the way we live.

And the good news is, we do not have to do this in our own strength. The same Lord who saved us will strengthen us. The same Christ who gave us the assignment will give us the power to carry it out.

So, this week, be faithful to the assignment. Speak for Christ. Live for Christ. Serve with joy. And remember, your labor in the Lord is never in vain.

Lord, thank You for the victory we have in Jesus Christ. Help us to be faithful to the work You have placed in our hands. Strengthen us to speak, serve, and live for You this week. In Jesus’ name, amen.
